    Hello 🙂

I desperately need help to find a house slipper for my problem. Unfortunately I don’t wear shoes ever indoors, and need an actual indoor slipper of some sort. (memory foam?) The metatarsal bone is my problem and is bad. I need something to keep it ‘off the ground’. If you can recommend any of your products, or where I can go to find help I would MORE than appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your time,

    Marilu Thompson

      Hello Marilu,
I have the same problem as you and I also do not wear shoes indoors. What I found to work the best for me, and I have tried so so so many shoes, is the Hoka One One slide (recovery sandal), absolutely not the flip flops. These recovery sandals (and the shoes) are designed for ultra marathoners (people that run 100 miles marathons). When you put the on the first time it feels odd. They basically are designed so the weight of your body rest on the heel of your feet and the ball of your feet feels slightly suspended in the air. These shoes have changed my life. Now if they just made them in dress shoes, I would pay any price.

Try croc flip flops for home. I cannot go barefoot because of my metatarsal problem and crop flip clops have been a lifesaver.

Best shoe for metatarsalgia are Oofos! I love their low shoes, their short boots, and their slides. I can walk ten plus miles in Oofos. No other shoe works. They have a neutral sole and very thick memory foam.
I wish they made a shoe with a deeper tread for trail hiking and a dress shoe in black. I currently have six pair of Oofos
